The Mayor and Mayoress of Wirral and the new signpost

Secret Sign Revealed at Butterfly Park

The Mayor of Wirral, Cllr. Phil Gilchrist unveiled a new signpost at New Ferry Butterfly Park on 27th April, marking the summer opening of the reserve to the public.

We are often asked, “where is the park?”  So finally we have the secret sign from Bebington Road, only visible when the site is open. Visitors following the Butterfly Park signs from New Ferry precinct can now find the last step of the way.

The signpost was paid for by the Integrated Transport Block monies via the Local Area Forum. We hope that, with the aid of the new sign, increasing numbers of visitors will be attracted to the park.
